Connections Events Inc. Awarded LMCCA Founder Lonnie McDonald the Industry Connections Award. This Award reads: "Given to an individual, company or group that forged connections and partnerships between the cleaning and restoration industry and other industries." Lonnie states:" This type of award, while given to a person really reflects the people that person has surrounded themselves with. It has been my distinct pleasure to work with a vastly diverse group of leaders as the LMCCA founder, then President and now as its Executive Director.
The Bible states with out vision people perish. It has long been my belief that this statement not only applies to our spiritual walk but also it can apply to business. In the case of my self and those in the LMCCA there is a clear vision to help people and help unite the industry by providing technically accurate information, dispelling myths and creating mutually beneficial partnerships.
While I can't mention everyone who I stand and represent I would like to thank Connections and its Board of Directors for allowing me to work with them since Connections was restarted. They are a great group of industry leaders. They represent 13 associations. They are your voice to the IICRC and the Industry. If you are not part of one of these great association I encourage you to check them all out and pick 1 or 2 that best fit what you believe in and then get involved in the process. It is an honor to be mentioned in the same breath as the past award winners and those that have been nominated.
I would like to thank LMCCA Co-Founder Rick Gelinas who remains a constant credit to the industry. Mark Warner the current LMCCA President for his leadership, John Garger for his ability to see a clear path in all things. I would also like to thank the LMCCA Membership and Board of Director for all they contribute to the industry and the friendship and support I receive from working with them.
I would be amiss if I did not thank my beautiful wife Robin who supports me and encourages me with her love and God who guides and directs my path."
